Este artículo revisa críticamente las líneas temáticas que desde 2005 hasta 2017 se han publicado sobre Second Language Writing (SLW) con el objetivo de presentar un análisis de las tendencias predominantes en las publicaciones indexadas en SCOPUS. Como metodología de estudio se ha procedido a la selección de aquellas contribuciones que han recibido 60 citas o más. Splicing Systems from Past to Future: Old and New Challenges

A splicing system is a formal model of a recombinant behaviour of sets of double stranded DNA molecules when acted on by restriction enzymes and ligase. In this survey we will concentrate on a specific behaviour of a type of splicing systems, introduced by P\u{a}un and subsequently developed by many researchers in both linear and circular case of splicing definition. In particular, we will present recent results on this topic and how they stimulate new challenging investigations.
Copper patterning on dielectrics by laser writing in liquid solution

A technique suitable for laser induced deposition of copper on LiNbO 3 and glass is presented. Deposition is achieved from Cu salt solution mixed with glycerol, after coating the surface with a very thin metal film. High resolution and low electrical resistivity can be achieved, using laser power levels in the 20-mW range. The technique can be used for electrode and interconnect fabrication in integrated optical devices, as well as mask repair or microelectronics applications.

Feature engineering is a key factor of machine learning applications. It is a fundamental process in writer identification of handwriting, which is an active and challenging field of research for many years. The article is an attempt to analyze and interpret the poem by Feliks Netz entitled Nie obchodzi mnie (I dont care), from the volume Trzy dni nieśmiertelności (Three Days of Immortality), which is an artistic reproduction of the last moments of Sándor Márai, an eminent Hungarian writer who died by suicide in San Diego in 1989.
