Evaluation eines standardisierten Trainings für die "Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale" (PANSS)

Die vorliegende Arbeit umfasst 3 Untersuchungen zur Interrater-Reliabilitat der deutschen Version der “Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale for Schizophrenia” (PANSS). Zur Interrater-Reliabilitat und Trainierbarkeit der PANSS liegen im deutschen Sprachraum trotz der weiten Verbreitung der Skala bisher keine empirischen Daten vor. Bei 3 Stichproben mit insgesamt 47 Teilnehmern unterschiedlicher klinischer Erfahrung wurde ein standardisiertes PANSS-Rater-Training durchgefuhrt und evaluiert. Bewertung des Therapieerfolgs durch Patienten mit Angststörungen nach stationärer Psychotherapie

Ziel. Identifikation von Einflussfaktoren auf die subjektive Bewertung des Therapieerfolgs nach stationarer Angstpsychotherapie. Methode. 231 Angstpatienten wurden in einer multizentrischen Studie zu Therapiebeginn und -ende sowie in der 1-Jahres-Katamnese untersucht. Die subjektive Erfolgsbewertung wurde mittels des Helping Alliance Questionnaire erfasst; in diesem Zusammenhang wird der Begriff “Patientenzufriedenheit” diskutiert. Ergebnis. Pneumatosis cystoides intestinalis

Bei der Pneumatosis cystoides intestinalis handelt es sich um Gascysten von Stecknadelkopf- bis Kirschgrose, die sich in der Wand des Dunndarms, des Coecums und im linksseitigen Dickdarm finden. Aber auch ein Befall des gesamten Colons ist beschrieben worden. Die Erkrankung kann in jeder Altersstufe auftreten. Histologisch lassen sich bei Serienschnitten kommunizierende Systeme von Gascysten nachweisen, die bei Jugendlichen submucos und im hoheren Alter subseros liegen. Die Zusammensetzung des Gases entspricht der der Atemluft.
Veränderung von Inzidenz und Mortalität von Kopf-Hals-Malignomen in Rheinland-Pfalz, 2000–2009

Hintergrund: Epidemiologische Daten zu Kopf-Hals-Malignomen werden trotz ihrer anatomisch-histologischen Heterogenitat oft aggregiert berichtet. In Deutschland gibt es bisher nur wenige Studien, die Trends von Inzidenz und Mortalitat detailliert nach Tumorentitaten analysiert haben. Weiterhin ist wenig daruber bekannt, ob die Inzidenz von HPV-assoziierten Tumorentitaten der Kopf-Hals-Region zugenommen hat. Investigations of Surface Forces between Gypsum Microcrystals in Air Using Atomic Force Microscopy

This article introduces a new approach to the study of the interactions between gypsum faces in air. We have mounted a gypsum crystal on the end of a microcantilever to measure local forces (van der Waals, capillary forces, electrostatic) directly between two crystals. A systematic study with respect to the orientation of crystalline faces, relative humidity, and the duration of contact between crystals improves the understanding of the mechanism involved in the hardening of plaster in air. Combined Effects of Auditing and Discretionary Accruals on the Cost of Debt: Evidence From Spanish SMEs

Previous literature shows mixed evidence on the effect of discretionary accruals and auditing on the cost of debt. We hypothesize that, in the SMEs setting, auditing can act as a substitute for accruals quality, and thus audits may mitigate the effect of discretionary accruals on the cost of debt. Using a sample of Spanish SMEs, we find that auditing is negatively related with the cost of debt, while higher discretionary accruals are related with a lower cost of debt. Nonetheless, this effect is lower than that one observed for audits. When considering the combined effect of both variables, the effect of discretionary accruals is replaced by that of auditing.
