Le Mémorial italien en l’honneur des victimes italiennes du camp d’Auschwitz-Birkenau, construit grâce à des contributions des mouvements de gauche et syndicats, fut inauguré en 1980 dans le Bloc 21 de ce même camp. Il fut conçu par l'ANED1 et développé par l'écrivain juif italien Primo Levi, les architectes BBPR2, le peintre Pupino Samonà en collaboration avec le musicien Luigi Nono et le cinéaste Nelo Risi.

Explaining the Inexplicable: Differences in Attributions for the Holocaust in Germany, Israel, and Poland

Seventy years have passed since the Holocaust, but this cataclysmic event continues to reverberate in the present. In this research, we examine attributions about the causes of the Holocaust and the influence of such attributions on intergroup relations. Three representative surveys were conducted among Germans, Poles, and Israeli Jews to examine inter- and intragroup variations in attributions for the Holocaust and how these attributions influence intergroup attitudes. Results indicated that Germans made more external than internal attributions and were especially low in attributing an evil essence to their ancestors. L'objet de ce texte est de s'interroger sur le rapport entre le lieu, le personnage et la mise en scène dans le film Shoah (C. Lanzmann, 1985). Ayant recours à l'idée de non-lieux utilisée par Lanzmann pour décrire les espaces de la destruction des Juifs d'Europe, et jouant sur le concept narratif de personnage, le texte met en évidence les stratégies formelles du réalisateur dans la perspective des films sur l'Holocauste.
