Multiple myeloma (MM) is characterized by aberrant bone marrow plasma cell (PC) proliferation and is one of the most common hematological malignancies. The potential effect of cannabinoids on the immune system and hematological malignancies has been poorly characterized. Cannabidiol (CBD) may be used to treat various diseases. T lymphocyte control of autoreactivity: analysis with human T cell clones and limiting dilution culture

To investigate cellular mechanisms controlling activated autoreactive T lymphocytes, a limiting dilution system was established employing cloned autoreactive major his-tocompatibility complex class II specific lymphocytes (a2/7) as stimulator cells for autologous peripheral blood mononuclear cells. At low responder/stimulator ratios, cytotoxic effector cells were generated capable of lysing clone a2/7. Importantly, within the population of cells mediating autocytotoxic effector function, differential specificities were found to exist. In vivo ozone exposure does not increase DNA single-strand breaks in human peripheral lymphocytes

In this randomized parallel study, we examined whether an acute ozone (O3) exposure leads to increased DNA strand breaks in human lymphocytes. The groups were exposed to 0.21 ppm O3 or filtered air for two hours. 30min and 4.5 h after exposure, DNA damage was determined in isolated lymphocytes using the Fast Micromethod. There was no detectable effect after O3 exposure. We conclude that an acute O3 exposure at the tested concentration does not lead to persistent DNA damage.

Although it is well known that the severance of a nerve results in paralysis of the dependent tissue, the methods of treating a denervated muscle are still controversial. A comparative study of the sealing ability of two root canal obturation techniques

A comparison was made of the ability of two root canal obturating techniques to prevent dye microleakage: gutta-percha lateral condensation and mechanically plasticized gutta-percha (JS Quick-fill). Twenty central incisors were prepared and obturated by each technique. After rendering the teeth transparent, linear dye penetration was found to be 0.48 and 0.52 mm, respectively. The difference between the two techniques was not significant.
