Bakalaura darba tēma ir “patērētāju attieksmes analīze zīmola maiņas procesā” koncentrējoties tieši uz nesen notikušo zīmola maiņu uzņēmumā SIA “Circle K Latvia” (iepriekš “Statoil”). Darba mērķis ir veikt zīmola būtības, pozicionēšanas un uzņēmuma zīmola maiņas procesa teorētisko aspektu izpēti un pamatojoties uz uzņēmuma darbinieku intervijās un klientu aptaujās iegūto informāciju izstrādāt priekšlikumus jaunā zīmola veiksmīgākai adaptācijai Latvijas tirgū. Izvirzīto mērķu sasniegšanai tika apkopota un analizēta literatūra par zīmola jēdzienu, identitāti, pozicionēšanu, attieksmi pret zīmolu un zīmola maiņu. Dažādas izcelsmes medus autentiskuma novērtējums

Darbā ir apkopota informācija par medu, tā viltošanu un viltojumu noteikšanas metodēm. Pētītas publikācijas par proteīnu izdalīšanu, vieglo stabilo izotopu masspektrometriju un aplūkotas hromatogrāfijas metodes cukuru noteikšanai. Tika veikta proteīnu izdalīšana no dažādas izcelsmes un viltotu medus paraugiem. Tika veikta vieglo stabilo izotopu attiecību analīze medus paraugos un viltošanai izmantotajām piedevām. Atsevišķi tika pētīti ar hromatogrāfijas metodi viltoti medus paraugi. Iegūtie rezultāti tika izmantoti, lai pētītu atšķirības starp dažādu reģionu izcelsmes medus paraugiem, kā arī, lai atrastu liecības par apzināti viltotiem medus paraugiem un pārliecinātos par to autentiskumu.

Survey on the demand of sicilian physicians for a specific training on human cadavers and animals

Currently, surgical training of physicians in Italy has limited possibilities.Surgical training can be performed on dissection of human bodies as well as in animal laboratories, but experience is very poor. We conducted a survey through an anonymous questionnaire in order to evaluate the opinions of post-graduate physicians on their need for experience training on both human and animal bodies during their medical studies. A total of 165 young Sicilian physicians responded to the survey. Only 14 of them (8.5%) declared they had specific training on a live animal, while 46 (27.9%) reported they already attended cadaver labs. Foreign direct investment and the rule of law in Africa in the context of legal integration

This essay focuses on the relationship between foreign direct investment (FDI) and the rule of law in the context of legal integration in Africa, outside of the AfCFTA agreement. Specifically, the essay investigates the concept of the rule of law, taking into account its ‘dynamic’ side, that is the power to shape and model the structure of a state using the example of OHADA. The OHADA framework shows that the relationship between foreign direct investment (FDI) and the rule of law is not unilateral but a ‘two-way mutual’ relationship where both actors contribute to the success of the system, adapting to each other in order to achieve their respective goals.

Measurement and analysis of the 241 Am neutron capture cross section at the n_TOF facility at CERN

The 241 Am ( n , γ ) cross section has been measured at the n_TOF facility at CERN with the n_TOF BaF 2 Total Absorption Calorimeter in the energy range between 0.2 eV and 10 keV. Our results are analyzed as resolved resonances up to 700 eV, allowing a more detailed description of the cross section than in the current evaluations, which contain resolved resonances only up to 150–160 eV. The cross section in the unresolved resonance region is perfectly consistent with the predictions based on the average resonance parameters deduced from the resolved resonances, thus obtaining a consistent description of the cross section in the full neutron energy range under study.
