Bieži saskaramies ar ziņām, ka ir pieaudzis vides piesārņojuma apmērs pasaulē. Kā viens būtiskākajiem faktoriem, kas veicina strauju vides piesārņošanos kalpo pārmērīgs vienreiz lietojamā plastmasas iepakojuma patēriņš. Lai mēģinātu rast risinājumu šai problēmai, šajā darbā tiks apskatīti veidi kā, manipulējot ar plastmasas un papīra iepirkumu maisu izvietojumu tirdzniecības vietā, būtu iespējams mazināt plastmasas iepirkumu maisu patēriņu, tā vietā mudinot pircējus iegādāties papīra iepirkumu maisus.
