Bakalaura darbā “Latvijas un Krievijas hokeja izlašu savstarpējas spēles pasaules čempionātos: Dienaskārtība un rāmējumi krievu un latviešu laikrakstos (1998 – 2017)” tika analizēts, kā Latvijā iznākošie krievvalodīgie laikraksti un laikraksti latviešu valodā savās publikācijās atspoguļo Latvijas un Krievijas hokeja izlašu savstarpējas spēles. Galvenā problēma ir informācijas atspoguļošanas atšķirības starp abu valodu laikrakstiem.

Maģistra darbā “Skolēna adaptācija, mainot izglītības iestādi pamatizglītības posmā” tiek pētīts skolēna adaptācijas process, mainot izglītības iestādi. Darba teorētiskajā nodaļā tiek piedāvāts adaptācija jēdziena skaidrojums, adaptācijas veidu izklāsts, skolēna adaptāciju ietekmējošie faktori un pamatizglītības posma ieguves organizācijas apraksts. Darba empīriskajā daļā ir veiktas aptaujas ar vecākiem un pedagogiem, intervijas ar vecākiem un bērniem, lai atbildētu uz pētījuma jautājumiem. Noslēgumā tiek apkopoti empīriskā pētījumā iegūtie rezultāti par adaptācijas procesu pamatizglītības posmā, tiek izdarīti secinājumi un ieteikumi pedagogiem, vecākiem un skolēniem.
Upju tūrisma sezonalitātes izmaiņas Gaujā un Amatā

Maģistra darba mērķis ir izvērtēt Gaujas un Amatas upju laivošanas sezonalitāti un tās izmaiņas klimata pārmaiņu ietekmē. Darbā veikta Gaujas un Amatas hidroloģisko un Gaujas baseina klimatisko parametru analīze. Noteiktas parametru izmaiņas un to raksturs kopš 20.gs vidus. Prognozētas to nākotnes hidroloģisko un klimatisko parametru izmaiņas, pamatojoties uz modelētajām izmaiņām Salacas un Vienziemītes baseinos pēc A2 un B2 scenārijiem, kā arī veikta nākotnes vērtību prognoze pamatojoties uz ilgtermiņa tendencēm. Noskaidroti laivošanas prakses ietekmējošie faktori un un to ietekmes stiprums. Prognozētas nākotnes izmaiņas Gaujas un Amatas laivošanas sezonalitātē.

Latvija ir ērču encefalīta endēmisks reģions – ar vīrusu inficētās ērces mīt visā Latvijas teritorijā. Slimību profilakses un kontroles centra tīmekļa vietnē ziņots, ka ap 30% no visām ērcēm inficētas ar vīrusu, tātad risks saslimt ar vīrusu ir ievērojams. Pēc SPKC datiem 2014. gadā reģistrēti 173 saslimšanas gadījumi ar ērču encefalītu, 2015. gadā – 169 saslimšanas gadījumi, savukārt 2016. gadā reģistrēti 230 saslimšanas gadījumi. This paper provides a deeper understanding of the role of social influences on positive eWOM behaviour (PeWOM) of heavy-users of online communities. Drawing on Social Interaction Utility Framework, Group Marketing and Social Learning Theories, we develop and test a research model integrating the interactions between the social climate of a website and Interpersonal Influences in PeWOM. 262 Spanish heavy-users of online communities were selected and the data analysed using partial least squares equation modelling.
