A single-shot water-immersion digital holographic microscope combined with broadband (white light) illumination mode is presented. This double imaging platform allows conventional incoherent visualization with phase holographic imaging of inspected samples. The holographic architecture is implemented at the image space (that is, after passing the microscope lens), thus reducing the sensitivity of the system to vibrations and/or thermal changes in comparison to regular interferometers. We perform a systematic application of the hybrid particle-field molecular dynamics technique [Milano et al, J. Chem. Phys. 2009, 130, 214106] to study interfacial properties and potential of mean force (PMF) for separating nanoparticles (NPs) in a melt. Specifically, we consider Silica NPs bare or grafted with Polystyrene chains, aiming to shed light on the interactions among free and grafted chains affecting the dispersion of NPs in the nanocomposite. The following article presents an image of historical, aesthetical and social space of Austria from the perspective of Ricarda Huch. For Huch, a doctor of history, writer, thinker and a personality of literary life, Austria was almost a lifelong point of reference for her views as an intellectual, it also had an impact on her interpersonal contacts. The writer, who after 1933 lived in an internal emigration, in the history of Austrian statehood finds references to the possibility of expressing opposition coming from the moral responsibility of an individual and then directed against all manifestations of enslavement.

Ventilatory inhibition is considered an undesirable pharmacological side effect of pharmacotherapy in neurodegenerative conditions underlain by brain dopamine deficiency. In this context, oleic derivatives of dopamine or N-acyl-dopamines are novel substances that may be of high therapeutic interest as having the ability to cross the blood-brain barrier and acting in dopamine-like manner. In the present study we seek to define the influence of N-acyl-dopamines on lung ventilation and its hypoxic responses in the rat. We found that N-oleoyl-dopamine decreased both normoxic and peak hypoxic ventilation in response to 8% acute hypoxia, on average, by 31% and 41%, respectively. Its metabolite, 3…
