[EN] The main objective of the present communication was the implementation of an strategy based on the Puzzle of Aronson in the tutorials corresponding to the Food Additives course of the Degree in Science and Food Technology. The competences of students regarding cooperative learning increased using this dynamic and functional methodology. [EN] In the present communication an strategy based on the Puzzle of Aronson has been applied to promote the cooperation in working groups in the tutorials of Food Additives course of the Degree in Science and Food Technology in the University of Valencia. This tool allows the training of transversal skills in the classroom such as: social and communication skills, decision making, and conflict resolution. A rubric has been applied to evaluate the cooperative work process and the obtained results have been discussed. Finally, we include data on the student satisfaction with the proposed activity through the completion of a survey.

Material multimedia para aumentar el rendimiento académico de los trabajos en grupo

[EN] Multimedia can be considered a useful tool for improving the learning. In this study we analyze the marks that students get in a group activity with and without the use of a multimedia material made by teachers. The scores are obtained using a rubric previously tested for this activity and the results show an increase in the final qualification for student groups who used the multimedia material. We also analyze the scores by units following the rubric and we note that scores increase 4.0 points for a maximum of 10 in the methodology unit. [EN] This paper analyzes the use of gamification in university education. Gamification is the term used to refer to the application of game mechanics in areas in which gaming is not typically used. Our working hypothesis is based on the idea that gaming can be a tool to promote the reinforcement of the concepts taught in the lecture. [ES] Este artículo analiza la experiencia realizada durante tres años con objeto de complementar la enseñanza del Derecho del trabajo con el uso del cine como material bibiográfico y sus resultados. En la experiencia se propuso una película por cada tema del programa académico de la asignatura de Derecho del trabajo (I) y también de la asignatura Políticas sociolaborales, ocupación e igualdad. Los resultados han sido positivos siendo el material cinemátográfico una ayuda significativa a la comprensión de conceptos complejos y su retención en el tiempo.
