On-line quizzes to evaluate comprehension and integration skills

[EN] This work demonstrates the use of a 2.0 tool, namely, Socrative, to evaluate one of the cross-curricular competences indicated by the Universitat Politècnica de València, specifically, comprehension and integration. It has been applied to the courses in different areas: sciences, engineering and languages. As part of its implementation, activities were proposed that could be done at the beginning, during or at the end of the class to, on the one hand, help students acquire the knowledge associated with the course(s), and on the other, gather evidence that demonstrates acquisition of said competence. The moral journey of learning a pedagogy: a qualitative exploration of student–teachers’ formal and informal writing of dialogic pedagogy

Students of education encounter a range of pedagogies yet how future teachers’ appropriate moral principles are little understood. We conducted an investigation into this process with 10 international students of education attending an intensive course on ‘dialogic pedagogy’ in a university in Finland. The data comprising student learning journals and essays were coded for the level of questioning, acceptance and irreverence. In the findings, reverential acceptance was more frequent than questioning and irreverence; however, our qualitative analysis also found a large number of micro-transitions between questioning, acceptance and irreverence suggesting a dynamic interplay. Conocer los errores técnicos de los alumnos en la enseñanza de la música puede ser de gran ayuda en la planificación de la enseñanza instrumental en sus fases iniciales. Esto es particularmente valioso en el trabajo con alumnado de 4-5 años. Este estudio explora esta cuestión mediante una Investigación-Acción realizada con 11 estudiantes voluntarios de dichas edades. Artikkelen undersoker hva slags forstaelse laererutdannere og laererstudenter har av estetiske arbeidsformer i undervisningen i laererutdanningene. Studien er en kvalitativ intervjuundersokelse blant laererutdannere og laererstudenter ved en norsk laererutdanningsinstitusjon.
