Objective: We assessed exposure to trihalomethanes (THMs) during pregnancy through different water uses and evaluated the association with birth weight, small for gestational age (SGA), low birth weight (LBW), and preterm delivery. Variational Henstock integrability of Banach space valued functions

We study the integrability of Banach space valued strongly measurable functions defined on $[0,1]$. In the case of functions $f$ given by $\sum \nolimits _{n=1}^{\infty } x_n\chi _{E_n}$, where $x_n $ are points of a Banach space and the sets $E_n$ are Lebesgue measurable and pairwise disjoint subsets of $[0,1]$, there are well known characterizations for Bochner and Pettis integrability of $f$. The function $f$ is Bochner integrable if and only if the series $\sum \nolimits _{n=1}^{\infty }x_n|E_n|$ is absolutely convergent. Set valued Kurzweil-Henstock-Pettis integral

It is shown that the obvious generalization of the Pettis integral of a multifunction obtained by replacing the Lebesgue integrability of the support functions by the Kurzweil--Henstock integrability, produces an integral which can be described -- in case of multifunctions with (weakly) compact convex values -- in terms of the Pettis set-valued integral.
Kurzweil--Henstock and Kurzweil--Henstock--Pettis integrability of strongly measurable functions

We study the integrability of Banach valued strongly measurable functions defined on $[0,1]$. In case of functions $f$ given by $\sum _{n=1}^{\infty } x_n\chi _{E_n}$, where $x_n $ belong to a Banach space and the sets $E_n$ are Lebesgue measurable and pairwise disjoint subsets of $[0,1]$, there are well known characterizations for the Bochner and for the Pettis integrability of $f$ (cf Musial (1991)). In this paper we give some conditions for the Kurzweil-Henstock and the Kurzweil-Henstock-Pettis integrability of such functions.

En los últimos años ha habido un repunte en las infecciones de transmisión sexual (ITS). Tradicionalmente, se asociaban las ITS a ciertos colectivos. Sin embargo, se observa que esta acentuación se da en diferentes grupos poblacionales, y es debida principalmente a las conductas sexuales de riesgo que se realizan, las cuales son exacerbadas por ciertos factores, como el consumo de sustancias tóxicas, la baja percepción de riesgo o la búsqueda de sensaciones sexuales. Although the relationship between personality and depressive illness is complex (Shea, 2005), there is empirical evidence that some personality features such as neuroticism, harm avoidance, introversion, dependency, self-criticism or perfectionism are related to depressive illness risk (Gunderson et al. 1999). Moreover, personality traits, especially neuroticism, may explain the increased prevalence of depression among females (Goodwin & Gotlib, 2004). Few studies have explored neuroticism, extraversion and psychoticism as risk factors for depression after an event as stressful as childbirth. S'hi posa de manifest l'existència d'una proporció de «positivitat» en la percepció de l'estrès que pot afectar la «florida», la síndrome d'esgotament professional i la implicació en el treball. En aquesta relació, la cultura hi pot tenir un paper fonamental.

MÉTODO: Se evaluaron 236 dolientes cuyos familiares eran pacientes oncológicos atendidos en servicios de cuidados paliativos de Valencia y Madrid y se realizó un seguimiento en 2 momentos temporales: 2 y 6 meses tras la muerte, evaluándose la presencia/ausencia de complicaciones en el proceso de duelo mediante dos criterios diagnósticos (DSM e ICG).
