Twitter on myös vihapuheenvälittäjä. Tämä tutkimus käyttää laajaa, käsin luokiteltua twiittiaineistoa Marinin hallituksen ministereihin kohdistuvan vihamielisen puheen tutkimisessa. Tutkimuksen tavoite oli selvittää, kuinka yleistä ministereihin kohdistuva vihapuhe on, ja miten vihapuhe jakautuu sukupuolen, iän ja puoluekannan mukaan. Tutkin myös vihapuheen lähettäjien seurattavia ja tykkäyksiä. Tulosten perusteella valtioneuvostoon kohdistuva vihapuhe on yleistä, koska keskimäärin noin joka 20. ministerille lähetetty viesti on vihamielinen. Artikkelissamme käsittelemme poliitikkoihin kohdistuvaa vihapuhetta sukupuolittuneena ilmiönä, johon liittyvät monenlaiset tunteet ja affektit. Vihapuhe vaikuttaa kohteisiinsa monin tavoin ja saa aikaan erilaisia tunteita ja tuntemuksia. Määrittelemme vihapuheen tietyn ryhmän todelliseen tai oletettuun ominaisuuteen kohdistuvaksi uhkaavaksi, halveksivaksi tai syrjiväksi puheeksi, joka vaikuttaa kohteisiinsa fyysisen väkivallan tavoin. Tarkastelemme vihapuhetta rajatusti politiikan toimijoihin kohdistuvana verbaalisena poliittisena väkivaltana. The article contains presentation of different kinds of addictions connected with female experiences depicted in Patrycja Pustkowiak’s novel The Night Animals. These story arcs create a portrait of the main character based on the literary category of antiheroism and the most important ideas of corporeal feminism. The analysis of the metaphor “the night animals” on the basis of four examples brings the conclusion that social exclusion is caused by alcoholism, drug addiction and hard pornography addiction.

A new naphthol-based rhodamine derivative (NpRD) has been developed for the selective and differential detection of adenosine 3′,5′-cyclic monophosphate (cAMP) and adenosine phosphates (APs) (ATP, ADP, and AMP) from other nucleotides. The simple detection and quantification of cAMP in human blood cells and in other samples based on the ‘turn on’ fluorescence properties of this chemosensor through colorimetry or fluorometry makes it unique for probable application in high throughput screening. peerReviewed

Resumen basado en el de la publicación Resumen en inglés La utilidad limitada del principio de Le Chatelier y su formulación vaga y ambigua pueden ser algunas de las fuentes de conceptos erróneos en el equilibrio químico. Rho GTPases in human breast tumours: expression and mutation analyses and correlation with clinical parameters

In the present study, we addressed the question of a putative relevance of Rho proteins in tumour progression by analysing their expression on protein and mRNA level in breast tumours. We show that the level of RhoA, RhoB, Rac1 and Cdc42 protein is largely enhanced in all tumour samples analysed (n=15) as compared to normal tissues originating from the same individual. The same is true for 32P-ADP-ribosylation of Rho proteins which is catalysed by Clostridium botulinum exoenzyme C3. Negli ultimi anni l’Europa ha dovuto affrontare le conseguenze di una crescente propaganda estremista, radicale e terroristica, che sempre più spesso trova spazio nei social media. Il contributo descrive il progetto COMMIT (COMMunIcation campaign against exTremism and radicalisation) che ha sviluppato, tra il 2020 e il 2022, una serie di attività di ricerca e di intervento con l’obiettivo, da un lato, di mappare il fenomeno della radicalizzazione online nei quattro Paesi partner (Italia, Grecia, Austria e Paesi Bassi) e individuare le caratteristiche dei gruppi più vulnerabili, dall’altro, di sviluppare le competenze di media literacy e di advocacy dei giovani destinatari del progetto.
