Deux tombes féminines, atypiques et privilégiées de la nécropole du Bas-Empire d'Arcis-sur-Aube (Champagne-Ardenne)

International audience; En 2002, une nécropole a été partiellement fouillée au sud de la commune d’Arcis-sur-Aube (Aube, Champagne-Ardenne). Cette opération a permis d’exhumer vingt-deux tombes datées entre la fin du IIIe et le milieu du IVe siècle. Malgré des pratiques de dépôt partagées par la plupart des défunts, deux tombes se distinguent. Ces deux fosses, aménagées avec un double coffrage, accueillent deux défuntes qui possèdent des dépôts très similaires. La qualité des dépôts, leur disposition dans la fosse, ainsi que la proximité des creusements, signalent une volonté du groupe de mettre en exergue ces deux femmes. Hatrize ist ein Dorf, das im Norden des Departments Meurthe-et-Moselle im Tal der Orne liegt, eines linksseitigen Zuflusses zur Mosel. During excavations conducted in 2011 in Grand (Vosges), a domus dating from the 2nd century and the first half of the 3rd was uncovered. Among the well-preserved vestiges a kitchen was identified with its cooking installations still in situ. These consisted of a hearth, a raised cooking platform and an oven. The kitchen was probably in use for both the residential and the servant’s quarters of the domus. The sediments linked to the use of the kitchen yielded numerous organic remains and pottery sherds dating from the 3rd century. The archaeological excavation undertaken in 2006 by the Institut national de recherches archéologiques preventives (Inrap) at the site “Le Clos des Tourelles” in Hombourg-Budange (Moselle, France) unearthed a Gallo-Roman tilery. It situated close to a medieval site, the initial target of the excavation project. The time span of the Gallo-Roman occupation cannot be stated with accuracy; only its abandonment can be dated to be later than 250 AD. The remains of the tilery are assembling a kiln, drains, a hall, a well, and, among other features, a small building. RésuméLes couches humides des puits sont souvent étudiées d’un point de vue carpologique. Cet article présente quelques réflexions et suggestions concernant l’échantillonnage, le traitement des prélèvements et la présentation des résultats carpologiques provenant de ces couches humides, généralement riches en macrorestes végétaux. Les plantes cultivées sont classées dans les tableaux par grands groupes fonctionnels (céréales, légumineuses, plantes oléagineuses et à fibres, fruitiers cultivés, etc.) et les taxons sauvages sont regroupés à partir de classes syntaxinomiques. L’habitat protohistorique de Marly, La Grange aux Ormes, qui fait l’objet de ce volume, est situé en Moselle, à moins de 400 m de la Seille, cours d’eau dont la vallée est connue pour avoir été un important centre d’exploitation du sel aux âges du Fer. The divers specialized studies of the Bréviandes watermill have yielded precise information on how the milling installation was operated and its environment. It was built with oak posts felled in 1115 AD along an ancient, silted up meander of the Seine river.the meander was re-activated after cleaning. Ce rapport de fouille présente les résultats d'un sondage archéologique mené au cœur du site de Nasium, à l'interface entre l'oppidum celtique et l'agglomération antique. Le système de voirie qui relie ces deux , dans le prolongement d'une des portes principales de l'oppidum, a été ainsi révélé, associé à des structures à caractère funéraire ou rituel. The preventive archaeological excavations conducted by Inrap under the direction of Édith Peytremann in 2010, in the commune of Pfulgriesheim in the Kochersberg region, led to the discovery of a settlement sector occupied from the middle of the 7th century to the end of the 11th century. The singularity of the site lies in the absence of any pole constructions and the subdivision of the sector, from the 10th century onwards, by building on cellars associated with excavated huts, pits, and silos.
