Se estudia, principalmente, si existe conformidad o no entre las normas del Derecho internacional del mar relativas al régimen del paso inocente de los buques de guerra y la práctica internacional.

3‐D CALCULATION OF ZERO‐COMPONENT FLUX IN THREE‐PHASE THREE‐COLUMN TRANSFORMER

The paper discusses the problem of space distribution of zero‐component magnetic flux generated in three‐column transformer. For 3‐D magnetic field calculation the method of integral equations was used. The numerical calculations were made for physical model of the transformer and compared with experimental results. The accuracy of the calculations of the magnetic field, achieved in the work, proves that the modelling may be used as a computer aided designing tool.

Inherently Chiral Calixarenes

Due to the nonplanarity of the basic 1 n -metacyclophane system, calixarenes and resorcarenes can be transformed into molecules with inherent chirality. Various attempts to achieve this goal are reviewed. Special emphasis is given to derivatives with C n -symmetry, including derivatives of spherand calixarenes and other calixarene-like macrocycles.

Hysteretic Systems Subjected to Delta Correlated Input

The paper deals with the evaluation of the probabilistic response of a single degree of freedom elastic-perfectly plastic system subjected to a delta correlated input process. The probabilistic characterisation of the response is here obtained by considering the accumulated plastic deformations as a compound homogeneous Poisson process independent of the external input. In this case the former can be considered as an external noise acting on the linear system. A closed form solution is also obtained and the analytic expression is compared with the customary Monte-Carlo method.

The use of Monte Carlo simulation methods for study of order-disorder phase transitions in lattice models of alloys is reviewed, with an emphasis on interfacial phenomena and the kinetics of ordering and/or phase separation. Uber die Ursprungsgruppe der Primaten1, die nach ubereinstimmender Auffassung in der spaten Oberkreide (Abb. 2.1) gelebt haben mus, besteht nach wie vor Unklarheit. The electronic spectra forcis-1,3-butadiene andcis-1,3,5-hexatriene have been studied using multiconfiguration second-order perturbation theory (CASPT2) and extended ANO basis sets. The calculations comprise all singlet valence excited states below 8.0 eV, the first 3s, 3p, 3d Rydberg states, and the second 3s state. The four lowest triplet states were also studied. The resulting excitation energies forcis-hexatriene have been used in an assignment of the experimental spectrum, leading to a maximum deviation of 0.13 eV for the vertical transition energies. Precise values of the Z resonance cross sections and lepton pair forward-backward asymmetries are measured from a sample of 1.3 million Z decays into hadrons and charged leptons taken with the ALEPH detector at LEP. A silicon-tungsten luminosity calorimeter was installed in ALEPH in 1992, permitting the determination of the absolute luminosity to a systematic precision of 0.15% (experimental) and 0.25% (theoretical). This is combined with a better understanding of the hadronic event selection and an improved tau pair selection. Several studies on metabolism and biological activity of tumorigenic dibenz[a,h]anthracene (DBA) and its derivatives have led to the conclusion that the M-region dihydrodiol, trans-3,4-dihydroxy-3,4-dihydro-DBA (DBA-3,4-dihydrodiol), is the precursor of the ultimate mutagenic and tumorigenic metabolite of DBA with the presumed structure of a bay-region dihydrodiol oxide. Un total de 73 fracturas abiertas de tibia grados I y II han sido estudiadas retrospectivamente, 41 tratadas mediante enclavijado endomedular (Ender) y 32 con fijadores externos. Deuteron disintegration by electrons is calculated in a covariant model for the quasifree region, where final-state interaction and two-body currents can be negiected, and is compared to a phenomenological approach in which one adds to the nonrelativistic one-body current relativistic contributions of lowest order and the kinematic wave-function boost. It is shown that ap/M-reduction of the relativistic theory contains the expressions of the phenomenological approach. The mechanism of drug-induced inhibition of the transient outward current, Ito, has been investigated in rat ventricular myocytes using the whole cell patch clamp technique. Ito was activated by 300 ms depolarizing voltage clamp steps in 10 mV increments from −50 mV up to +40 mV. At +40 mV, Ito peaked after about 3 ms, and the time course of inactivation was appropriately described by two time constants, τfast = 17 ms and τslow = 203 ms. Verapamil, quinidine sulfate and nifedipine preferentially depressed Ito at the end of the 300 ms depolarizing voltage clamp step; the inactivation of Ito was accelerated by all drugs, whereas peak Ito was less affected. Normal and transverse single tau polarization at the Z-peak

Abstract We study normal (to the collision plane) and transverse (within the collision plane) single-τ polarization in τ pairs produced in e + e − unpolarized collisions at the Z -resonance. The transverse polarization component is sensitive to the anomalous weak-magnetic moment, whereas the normal polarization component is sensitive to a CP-violating weak-electric dipole moment. We show how these components of the single τ polarization are accessible from the angular distribution of its decay products. We define a CP violating asymmetry of the τ decay products which, with 10 7 Z ′s produced, provides a sensitivity of 2.3 × 10 −18 e ·cm for the weak-electric dipole moment.

X-ray emission from the Vela SNR shock region: Spectral fitting with a non-equilibrium ionization model

We report on the 5′ scale spectral analysis of the X‐ray emission from a region near the edge of the Vela SNR with a Non‐Equilibrium Ionization (NEI) model. We have found significant variations of temperature, density, ionization time and interstellar absorption. We have identified an overdense region with higher density and lower temperature than the surrounding medium. That can be interpreted as an ISM cloudlet recently shocked by the blast wave, not yet in thermal equilibrium. Our independent determination of the Vela SNR distance is in agreement with the most recent results based on ROSAT All‐Sky Survey data. Quarks in Few Hadron Systems

We make use of QCD-based quark models to analyze the observability of quark effects in few hadron systems. A hadron is described by a two phase picture. The dynamics of the interior (perturbative) phase consists of a mechanism to confine the elementary degrees of freedom and an asymptotic QGD type interaction. The dynamics of the exterior (non perturbative) phase is approximated by an effective mesonic lagrangian.
