The paper considers the monumental crater of the Niobid Painter found in Gela in 1889 and preserved in the Archaeological Museum of Agrigento. It depicts an Amazonomachy all round its body, the myth of Herakles and Pholos along with a Centauromachy on the two sides of its neck. The first part of the contribution traces the history of the vase from its discovery to the musealization; the symbolical meaning taken up by this object and this type of precious vases in the post-united Sicily is reconstructed. This paper examines the labor-market returns to a new form of postsecondary vocational education, vocational master's degrees. We use individual fixed effects models on the matched sample of students and non-students from Finland to capture any time-invariant differences across individuals. Attendance in vocational master's programs leads to higher earnings of eight percent five years after entry even if selection on unobservables is twice as strong as selection on observables. Earnings gains are similar by gender and age, but they are marginally higher for health than for business or technology and trades. nonPeerReviewed

Iatrogenic vascular injury during hip fracture surgery is a rare complication, with infrequent reports of injury during the procedure of cephalo-medullary nailing. We describe a case report of a 94 years old female with a pertrochanteric fracture complicated by an injury to the superior and inferior gluteal artery which occurred during insertion of the nail. There is a risk of lesion of the arteries gluteal during the location in the greater trochanter starting point for the nail insertion. For this reason, its important during this step of the operation look out a possible lesion and postoperative control for a correct diagnostic and early treatment

Nuestro objetivo es realizar una revision de la Domus del Peristilo ( Lucentum ), analizando desde un punto de vista arquitectonico y funcional los espacios que la componen. The extent (determined by the repellency indices RI and RIc) and persistence (determined by the water drop penetration time, WDPT) of soil water repellency (SWR) induced by pines were assessed in vastly different geographic regions. The actual SWR characteristics were estimated in situ in clay loam soil at Ciavolo, Italy (CiF), sandy soil at Culbin, United Kingdom (CuF), silty clay soil at Javea, Spain (JaF), and sandy soil at Sekule, Slovakia (SeF). The starting point for this paper is the assumption that by obsessive revisiting the events of World War II, the Croatian writer Dasa Drndic attempts to influence indirectly the present. It parallels her narrators’ declarations who—with a great dose of probability—can be simultaneously read as her alter egos. Leadership and internationalisation are both established areas of scientific research, yet their interplay remains insufficiently examined. The present study focuses on the former and aims to shed more light on the intersection of leadership and internationalisation. By utilising fsQCA, a qualitative comparative analysis, to a set of 437 active international firms, results suggest that under distinct conditions transactional as well as transformational leadership can lead to a high level of internationalisation for both traditional internationalising and so-called 'born-global' firms.
