Background:\ud \ud This cross-sectional study aimed to examine associations between excessive daytime sleepiness (EDS) with falls and falls related conditions in older adults.\ud \ud Methods:\ud \ud To assess EDS, the Epworth Sleepiness Scale was used, with a score of ≥11/24 points indicating EDS. Number of falls and fall history (at least one) in the last year were recorded. Timed Up and Go test (TUG) was used to assess fall risk. Sarcopenia was defined by SARC-F tool. This chapter observes how recent Finnish municipal and regional cultural strategies signify and value culture. On the basis of a thematic analysis of 21 strategies, I construct three main categories of their 'culture speech': the first is to approach culture as an instrument that unites different administrative sectors, on the one hand, and helps them to achieve extra-cultural – mostly social and economic – objectives, on the other. I danni vengono quantificati sulla base di alcuni criteri di lesione quali HIC, TTI, criterio dei 3 ms, forze di contatto, ecc… Inoltre è stato eseguito un modello teorico per la validazione dei risultati ottenuti dal punto di vista matematico e una serie di confronti, dei dati ottenuti con delle fonti presenti in bibliografia. Based on newly collected specimens, we revise the species ‘Callavia? lotzei’ Richter and Richter, 1941 from the ‘Cumbres beds’ of Cumbres de San Bartolomé and the ‘Herrerías shale’ of Cañaveral de León, Sierra del Bujo, and Hinojales (Huelva, Spain), and ‘Paradoxides choffati’ Delgado, 1904 from the Vila Boim Formation of Elvas (Portugal). Upper limits on the isotropic gravitational-wave background from Advanced LIGO and Advanced Virgo's third observing run

We report results of a search for an isotropic gravitational-wave background (GWB) using data from Advanced LIGO's and Advanced Virgo's third observing run (O3) combined with upper limits from the earlier O1 and O2 runs. Unlike in previous observing runs in the advanced detector era, we include Virgo in the search for the GWB. The results are consistent with uncorrelated noise, and therefore we place upper limits on the strength of the GWB. Motivated by the challenge of incorporating data into misspecified and multiscale dynamical models, we study a McKean-Vlasov equation that contains the data stream as a common driving rough path. We study the collective effects of an ensemble of organic molecules confined in an optical cavity based on Holstein-Tavis-Cummings model. By using the quantum Langevin approach and adiabatically eliminating the degree of freedom of the vibrational motion, we analytically obtain the expression of the cavity transmission spectrum to analyze the features of polaritonic states. Experimental data for pion photoproduction including differential cross sections and various polarization observables from four reaction channels, $\gamma p \to \pi^0 p$, $\gamma p \to \pi^+n$, $\gamma n \to \pi^- p$ and $\gamma n \to \pi^0 n$ from threshold up to $W=2.2$ GeV have been used in order to perform a single-energy partial wave analysis with minimal model dependence by imposing constraints from unitarity and fixed-$t$ analyticity in an iterative procedure.
