Quinto Orazio Flacco è fra i più tradotti auctores latini nelle culture letterarie d’Europa, soprattutto nei secoli XVI, XVII, XVIII. La ricostruzione repertoriale e critica delle traduzioni che hanno avuto per oggetto il suo corpus si offre, quindi, come documento particolarmente significativo della fortuna traduttoria di un mito letterario, in quanto attesta il rapporto di imitatio/aemulatio che numerosi autori hanno stabilito con il modello nel momento in cui hanno deciso di assimilarlo, attraverso le traduzioni, alle lingue e alle culture nazionali cui essi appartengono.

Il presente articolo è dedicato al confronto tra l’uso del gerundio in italiano e spagnolo; a differenza di quanto si potrebbe pensare a prima vista, la loro corrispondenza formale non implica un identico uso sintattico. La divergenza principale è data dal gerundio predicativo, molto diffuso in spagnolo e agrammaticale in italiano, divergenza che è dovuta a una differente evoluzione sintattica risalente ai primi secoli delle lingue romanze. There are different ways of translating popular songs or pop music. They can be translated for a volume that collects lyrics only to be read, to understand the meaning of the song’s message. If the song must be translated to be sung, for the performance, and you do not want to change the music, the only way to go is that of adaptation, in the appropriate choice of rhyming words that must adapt to the musical, mask (Low 2008). Our thesis, supported by three original case studies whose results we will study in the transition from a foreign language to Italian, is that this adaptation can coincide with what is now called transcreation.

The changes of translation norms. 1930 and 1953 as contexts of the translation of The Magic Mountain by Thomas Mann. The author presents the preliminary considerations related to a planned study the purpose of which is to reconstruct the history of the Polish translation of Der Zauberberg (The Magic Mountain) by Thomas Mann and examine its impact on the Polish reception of the work. El sistema verbal búlgar conserva en principi l’esquema antic. La tendència que antigament operà sobre els sistemes eslaus convertint el perfet en un passat general sembla que també va actuar en búlgar, però menà a resultats diferents. Una innovació fou el valor testimonial associat als temps passats, davant del valor neutre dels no-passats. El sistema s’ha enriquit amb altres innovacions basades sobre els valors de perfet: perfets secundaris, formes narratives, mode conclusiu i formes dubitatives.

Literarische Übersetzung zwischen Autotranslation und Neuschöpfung: Brygida Helbigs "Niebko" versus "Kleine Himmel"

Artykuł poświęcony jest analizie translatorycznej powieści Brygidy Helbig pt. Niebko (2013) oraz jej niemieckiego przekładu (Kleine Himmel, 2019). Porównanie obu wersji pozwala stwierdzić liczne rozbieżności. Przyjęta perspektywa translatologiczna ma charakter interdyscyplinarny, łączy elementy językoznawcze oraz literaturoznawcze. Wnioski z analizy stanowią przyczynek do refleksji na temat przekładu literatury interkulturowej, zjawiska autotranslacji oraz redefinicji pojęcia „przekład”.

Šajā maģistra darbā galvenā uzmanība tiek pievērta īpatnībām un problēmas, tulkojot tūrisma tekstus no angļu valodas latviešu valodā. Šā darba mērķis bija pētīt īpatnības un iespējamās problēmas, kas varētu parādīties tulkojot Dorling Kindersley (DK) tūrisma ceļvežus Great Britain un Lielbritānija, kā arī Small Luxury Hotels of the Wolrd (SLH) portfolio. Lai rastu atbildes uz galvenajiem pētījuma jautājumiem un apstiprinātu hipotēzi, tika izmantota kvalitatīvā pētījuma metode un veikta DK tūrisma ceļvežu un SLH viesnīcu aprakstoša analīze. Functionally-defined recurrent multi-word units in English-to-Polish translation

This study uses both parallel and comparable reference corpora in the English-Polish language pair to explore how translators deal with recurrent multi-word items performing specific discoursal functions.We also consider whether the observed tendencies overlap with those found in native texts,and the extent to which the discoursal functions realised by themulti-word items under scrutiny are “preserved” in translation.
