En suivant les maîtres dans ce domaine (de Jakobson à Lévi-Strauss, de Barthes à Greimas, de Fabbri à Landowski et à Boutaud3), de nombreux travaux ont été effectués concernant les recettes de cuisine et les régimes alimentaires, la structure des plats et la conception des aliments, les récits gastronomiques et les valeurs gustatives, les processus esthétiques et les extases de saveurs, les langages de dégustation et les modes médiatiques. Mais, tout en tenant compte des suggestions issues de ces recherches, on doit constater que beaucoup de travail reste encore à faire.

Sex-related differences in D-dimer levels for venous thromboembolism screening.

Background D-dimer is generally considered positive above 0.5 mg/L irrespective of sex. However, women have been shown to be more likely to have a positive D-dimer after controlling for other factors. Thus, differences may exist between males and females for using D-dimer as a marker of venous thromboembolic (VTE) disease. Tailoring the anomalous Hall effect of SrRuO$_3$ thin films by strain: a first principles study

Motivated by the recently observed unconventional Hall effect in ultra-thin films of ferromagnetic SrRuO$_3$ (SRO) we investigate the effect of strain-induced oxygen octahedral distortion in the electronic structure and anomalous Hall response of the SRO ultra-thin films by virtue of density functional theory calculations. Our findings reveal that the ferromagnetic SRO films grown on SrTiO$_3$ (in-plane strain of $-$0.47$\%$) have an orthorhombic (both tilting and rotation) distorted structure and with an increasing amount of substrate-induced compressive strain the octahedral tilting angle is found to be suppressed gradually, with SRO films grown on NdGaO$_3$ (in-plane strain of $-$1.7$\%$…

Abstract In tumor-bearing mice, cyclic fasting or fasting-mimicking diets (FMD) enhance the activity of antineoplastic treatments by modulating systemic metabolism and boosting antitumor immunity. Here we conducted a clinical trial to investigate the safety and biological effects of cyclic, five-day FMD in combination with standard antitumor therapies.
