Bērnu vecumā no 7 līdz 11 gadiem spēja novērtēt savu ķermeņa tēlu un tā saistība ar vecāku spēju novērtēt savu un bērna ķermeņa tēlu

Pētījuma mērķis bija noskaidrot, vai bērni vecumā no 7 līdz 11 gadiem un viņu vecāki ir spējīgi novērtēt bērna ķermeņa tēlu un kādas saistības pastāv starp šiem mainīgajiem, kā arī, kādas pazīmes bērni norāda savā ķermenī, kas viņiem patīk un nepatīk. Pētījumā piedalījās 61 vecāku un bērnu pāri. Starp vecākiem 41 sievietes vecumā no 30 līdz 49 gadiem (M = 37,37, SD = 3,31) un 20 vīrieši vecumā no 34 līdz 48 gadiem (M = 37,28, SD = 4,76). Kā arī 31 meitene 7 līdz 11 gadi (M = 8,96, SD = 1,44) un 30 zēni 7 līdz 11 gadi (M = 8,83, SD = 1,46). Molekulārie mikroRNS faktori hipofīzes adenomas attīstībā

Izmaiņas miRNS ekspresijā ir saistītas ar dažādu audzēju patoģenēzi, tāpēc tās ir iespējams izmantot kā biomarķierus. Lai pētītu, kādas miRNS ir saistītas ar hipofīzes adenomām (HA), darbā ar nākamās paaudzes sekvencēšanu (NGS) tika analizēts miRNS sastāvs 13 HA pacientu audos, kā arī analizēts cirkulējošo miRNS profils plazmā pirms un pēc HA rezekcijas operācijas 13 HA pacientos. Statistiski būtiskas (P < 0,05) miRNS sastāva izmaiņas asins plazmā 24 stundas pēc operācijas noteiktas piecām miRNS (hsa-miR-143-3p; hsa-miR-1290; hsa-miR-223-3p; hsa-miR-12136; hsa-miR-425-5p) un to izmaiņas pēc Log2 fold change bija robežās no 0,55 līdz 2,87. This paper deals with the first lines of Aristotle’s De interpretatione. Starting from Lo Piparo’s (2003) authoritative reading, I try to show that symbolon does not mean either ‘symbol’ or ‘sign’ in the sense commonly ascribed to these words. On etimological grounds (see symballo), I suggest that symbolon means something as ‘mark’, ‘countresign’, i.e., a double-faced unity. In any case, symbolon establishes a symmetric relation between its relata: if A is symbolon of B, B is symbolon of A. Chronic urticaria (CU) in children as in adults is characterized by the presence of itchy wheals, angioedema, or both daily or almost daily for at least 6 weeks. Most cases of urticaria in the pediatric age group are acute [1–4]. CU is sub-classified as spontaneous (occurring without a known trigger) or inducible.
