Electroweak effective theory and beyond Standard Model resonances

We consider a non-linear realization of the electroweak symmetry-breaking pattern $SU(2)_L\times SU(2)_R/SU(2)_{L+R}$ to construct a low-energy effective theory, later extended by the inclusion of heavy new-physics resonances. After assuming appropriate high-energy constraints given by Weinberg sum-rules and the asymptotic behaviour of form-factors, we obtain relations between resonance masses and some low-energy effective couplings. These predictions are compared with current experimental data and some resonance mass bounds are inferred.

We present a novel bio-friendly water-stable Zn-based MOF (1), derived from the natural amino acid L-serine, which was able to efficiently photodegrade water solutions of brilliant green dye in only 120 min. The total degradation was followed by UV-Vis spectroscopy and further confirmed by single-crystal X-ray crystallography, revealing the presence of CO2 within its channels. We report the assembly and annotation of the complete mitochondrial genome of the warningly-coloured wood tiger moth (Arctia plantaginis) and investigate its phylogenetic position within Arctiinae. The A.plantaginis mitogenome is 15,479 bp long with 13 protein-coding genes, 22 transfer RNAs, 2 ribosomal RNA genes, and an A + T-rich region (D-loop). The phylogenetic analyses based on 13 protein-coding genes showed A.plantaginis clustering within a clade of species with white wings and yellow or red bodies. Methods The number of hospitalizations for self-harm (ICD-10 codes X60-X84) in France from 1st January to 31st August 2020 (including a two-month confinement) was compared to the same periods in 2017–2019. Abstract We investigated the effectiveness of an intervention aimed at enhancing maternal sensitivity on mothers' verbal responsiveness to infants. Forty-four mothers from low-income, Brazilian homes and their 3-month-old infants were randomly assigned to intervention (n = 22) and comparison (n = 22) groups. The intervention spanned eight monthly home visits, during which mothers were trained to acknowledge and respond to infants' behaviors. We report the annealing effect focusing primarily on the structural and magnetic properties of two different Mn3Ga thin films.
