The antigen-specific activation of CD4-positive T helper cells depends on the recognition of a complex of MHC class II molecules and an antigen-derived peptide on the surface of antigen-presenting cells (APC). For most antigens generation of this MHC/peptide complex requires the uptake of the respective antigen by APC, followed by intracellular processing. The latter leads to suitable peptides of the antigen which are able to bind to MHC class ll-molecules. Subsequently the resulting complexes are transported to the cell surface. TK pencil fine mines type Faber Castell Super polymer from Staedtler are used as graphite based material for an atrazine-sensitive immunoelectrode. Eighteen procedures are tested to immobilize antibodies against atrazine but only one turned out to be useful for the preparation of a graphite based immunoelectrode. It incorporates binding of glutardialdehyde to active sites of the graphite surface and subsequent cross-linking of the antibodies with glutardialdehyde. Esta técnica ha sido realizada en un total de 73 casos, con una edad media de 11 años y un seguimiento medio de 3 años. La valoración de los resultados se realizó en base a la correción anatómica, corrección radiológica y movilidad del pie, y fueron clasificados en: excelentes (normalización de los tres aspectos), buenos (mejoría de los 3 aspectos con normalización absoluta de 2 e ellos) y malos (mejoría de uno o ningún aspecto). Measurement of the b hadron lifetime with the dipole method

A measurement of the average lifetime of b hadrons has been performed with the dipole method on a sample of 260000 hadronic Z decays recorded with the ALEPH detector during 1991. The dipole is the distance between the vertices built in the opposite hemispheres. The mean dipole is extracted from all the events without attempting b enrichment. Comparing the average of the data dipole distribution with a Monte Carlo calibration curve obtained with different b lifetimes, an average b hadron lifetime of 1.51 +/- 0.08 ps is extracted. Both anodic and cathodic photocurrents have been detected on tantalum oxide films depending on polarization. The optical band gap, E g opt , has been derived for anodic films grown in different conditions as well as for native oxides. Cathodic photocurrents at hv<E g opt have been attributed to electron injection at the metal/oxide interface. A change in the sign of the photocurrent with the wavelength of the incident light has been observed near to the flat band potential. The paper deals with a parallel approach to job shop scheduling by a branch and bound methodology using the lower bound proposed by Ashour and Hiremath. The optimal solution is achieved by an iterative-reductive strategy. At each iteration the algorithm investigates the conflict intervals and it selects a subset of the possible solutions. The makespan value, achieved by the parallel processes, gives the upper limit for the admissible lower bound of the intermediate solutions.
