This study investigated the association between physical activity (PA) and midlife income. The population-based data comprised employed members of the Northern Finland Birth Cohort 1966 (N = 2797). Using binned scatterplots and polynomial regressions, we evaluated the association between accelerometer-measured moderate PA (MPA), vigorous PA (VPA), and moderate-to-vigorous PA (MVPA) at 46 years old and register-based income at 50 years old. The models were adjusted for sex, marital status, number of children, education, adolescent PA, occupational physical strenuousness, and time preference. A series of LH[Z–I–Z] halogen(I) complexes, where Z = saccharinato or phthalimido anions and LH = pyridinium, pyrazinium, tetrabutyl (TBA)- or tetramethylammonium (TMA) cations, were prepared, structurally characterized, and discussed as complexes consisting of a [N–I–N]− anion with a three-center–four-electron (3c-4e) halogen bond, and a hydrogen-bonding (pyridinium or pyrazinium) or inert (TBA or TMA) cation. The symmetric [N–I–N]− anion, reminiscent of the triiodide [I–I–I]− anion, is found to be structurally equivalent to its cationic analogue [N–I–N]+ with N–I bond lengths of 2.26 Å. This paper analyses a questionnaire measuring the financial literacy of the Norwegian respondents. There is a consistent gender gap in investments, and as this paper concluded, in financial literacy as well. Variables such as education, income, gender, and risk aversion have significant impact on financial literacy. There are some significant impacts of where the respondent’s resident, whether it is a central area, a specific county, or municipalities containing a large proportion of investors. The survey revealed how females are more risk averse, but also more affected by other factors such as environment and upbringing than males. Denne masteroppgaven forsøker å belyse spørsmålet om hvordan skjønnlitteratur brukes i norskundervisningen i en 6. klasse, og hvordan dette kan påvirke elevenes leselyst. For å gjøre dette har jeg gjennomført en kvalitativ undersøkelse, der jeg intervjuet læreren til denne 6. klassen og to elevgrupper, samt observerte fire norsktimer og én bibliotektime. Etter å ha analysert empirien fra undersøkelsen, er det noen sentrale poeng som skiller seg ut fra resten, som jeg vil fokusere på i analysen min. The regiospecific S-benzylation/allylation of two 4-aryl-5-indolyl-1,2,4-triazole-3-thione precursors was carried out using Et3N as a base. Allyl group migration from exocyclic sulfur to the triazole nitrogen (N3) was successfully achieved in a short time via thermal fusion without the need for any catalyst. The allylation of indole nitrogen, along with exocyclic sulfur or triazole nitrogen (N3), was carried out using K2CO3 as stronger base. Målet med denne avhandlingen var å forberede og karakterisere det naturlige mineralet molybden disulfid fra den lokale gruven Knaben Gruver, for bruk som anodemateriale i litium-ion-batterier. Prosessen med å rense med svovelsyre, kulemølling og sikting produserte partiklene til størrelser under 45 mikrometer og ga få urenheter, materialet ble karakterisert ved testing som anode i en myntcelle. Det ble laget fire elektroder som ble satt sammen i myntceller med litium som mot- elektrode, to med et belegg av MoS2 på 60 mikrometer tykkelse og to med et belegg på 30 mikrometer tykkelse. The focus of this work is the current distribution of asteroids in co-orbital motion with Venus, Earth and Jupiter, under a quasi-coplanar configuration and for a medium-term timescale of the order of 900 years. A co-orbital trajectory is a heliocentric orbit trapped in a 1:1 mean-motion resonance with a given planet. As such, to model it this work considers the Restricted Three-Body Problem in the planar circular case with the help of averaging techniques. The effects of Steinernema carpocapsae (Nematoda: Steinernematidae) on the growth and immunoactivity of R. ferrugineus larvae were compared with another model insect Galleria mellonella L. (Lepidoptera: Pyralidae). Although S. carpocapsae had a negative effect on the weight and mortality of R. ferrugineus, it was not able to replicate in the hemolymph with the same rates found for the moth.
